Some useful tips if you are planning to be away:
- Keep all valuables and spare keys out of sight
- Always keep gates locked when not is use
- Install time sensors for lights so that you can create the illusion of activity in the home
- Test your alarm before you leave. Simply phone in to the technical team and let them know that you need to arrange a test so that you don’t have a reaction unit despatched to your home when someone else may be in real crisis.
