Take the necessary precautions now to guard your assets.

‘Silly Season’ is almost here and it is a challenging time of year during which there is an increase in technical and operational pressures in the Electronic Security and Alarms sector. Studies indicate an increase in crime from Oct to Dec so we’re offering our domestic security clients in Pietermaritzburg and East London a 25% discount on our standard callout and labour charges associated with checking and testing alarms. The offer is valid for the months of October and November only.

It is vitally important to have the back-up battery component of your security system checked, tested and replaced where necessary. Under “normal” conditions, alarm system batteries can be replaced every two years. The negative effect that repeated power failures have on a back-up battery’s duty-cycle cannot be over-emphasized and therefore, we encourage you to take up the offer to check your system now.

There are many security systems in the market place that are inadvertently left with severely compromised battery integrity, unbeknown to customers. It is advisable to invest in a new technology deep-discharge alarm battery that will support your alarm system adequately over the festive period and beyond.

Modern alarm systems that incorporate wireless components rely on batteries too. These generally need to be replaced every year so we’re offering battery replacement during October and November at a discount of 20%.
(T’s and C’s apply). Please note that the discount structures on callout fees, labour and back-up batteries offered herein do not apply to emergency technical repairs or repairs that have not been pre-booked in advance. Discounts will fall away after the 30th November 2017 so get in early to take advantage of the early bird savings and call our Technical Department on 0861-033-147 (Pietermaritzburg) or 043-703 4700 (East London).
