Family find human bones at Boknes

    October 9, 2019

A family who went to Boknes, the Eastern Cape, for a holiday found a human skull on the beach near the lagoon.

According to police spokesperson Captain Mali Govender, the matter was reported to the local SAPS. When the officers arrived at the scene, they discovered more remains. The bones were transported to the Department of Health for analysis.

The police officers have opened an inquest docket. They urge anyone possessing information that may help the investigation to contact Sergeant Gxogxo of the Alexandria SAPS Detectives at 046 653 0248 or the Crime Stop at 08600 10111.
