The Smith Family more testimonialsTwo more heavy-duty trucks have been set alight in KwaZulu-Natal province as the protest actions started to push the country into chaos.
The incidents had taken place on the N3 freeway near Mooi River in the Midlands last night and reportedly resulted in zero casualties. The trucks were traveling metres away from each other when several unknown perpetrators threw petrol bombs at them from a nearby bridge.
The burning vehicles had blocked the road; however, the northbound carriageway has since been reopened as the authorities finished recovering the wreckage.
The motorists have also been urged to remain cautious on the road as similar incidents are likely to continue. As for now, no arrests in connection with the case have been made yet.
