    Two arrested for dagga trafficking

    The police officers in Scottburgh have busted two men. They are suspected of drug dealing.

    According to the police report, the Hawks’ Members from the Port Shepstone Serious Organised Crime unit received a tip-off about two vehicles allegedly transporting a significant amount of dagga from the Eastern Cape to KwaZulu-Natal.

    The suspects were arrested by the Flying Squad and K9 unit. The vehicles, as well as 77 bags of dagga, were seized by the officers. The drug value was estimated at R771, 000.

    The suspects were released on bail. The hearing is scheduled for September 27.
